Bike path in Whistler, British Columbia
The Mt. Washington Valley Rec Path is in the planning stages and is not yet under construction. There is easy riding on gravel pathways near the new Kennett High School and at Whitaker Woods in North Conway. The Fryeburg section of the Mountain Division rail-trail was recently paved and can be accessed from the Maine visitor center on Route 302 at the ME-NH state line. Bike rentals are available from Joe Jones Sports and Red Jersey Cyclery, both in North Conway.
Our VISION is to create a permanent bicycle-pedestrian corridor within the Mount Washington valley that will, with its popular use, promote healthy lifestyles, reduce traffic congestion and our collective carbon footprint, and inspire the appreciation and enjoyment of the natural beauty that surrounds us.
